In 1910 he is listed as Cass, a teamster on a log team (21, AR) single and working as a hired hand for the family of Bill Dodson.
He married Maggie Jackson on 14 Oct 1916 in Garland Co, AR.
His draft registration record for WWI lists him has Cas Guyado Adkins, born 15 Dec 1890 in Hot Springs, AR. He is listed as married and working as a teamster for the Arkansas Land & Lumber company.
He is listed as a truck driver (33, AR) and his family is living with his mother and step-father in 1920, where he is listed as Cass, some listings show him as Guy.
Cass and Maggie are listed in the 1923 Hot Springs city directory.
His death record in Garland County is listed as Guy Odi Cass Adkins, similar to his draft registration.

Seems to have gone by Maggie prior to the death of her first husband, and Madge after that.
She is listed as age 18 (abt 1898) on her marriage record to Cass in 1916.
Then listed in 1920 as Maggie (20, AR) with her parents born in Tennessee & Arkansas.
After Cass Adkin’s death, she remarried Lewis Lawrence Nelson (1892, LA- 29 May 1932 AR) and they are listed in Hot Springs, AR in 1926.
In 1930 the family consisted of Lewis Nelson, working for the Telephone company, Madge (33, OK), Lewis Jr (3y 2m, AR), Juanita H. Adkins (11, IL), Bonnita Adkins (9, IA) and Ida R. Adkins (7, MO). It showed Lewis as being first married at age 34, indicating that they had been married 4 yrs, while Madge was first married at age 19 and her parents born in Oklahoma and Germany.
By 1940 Madge Nelson was widowed and working as a seamstress (40, OK) in a WPA sewing room. Listed with her are children Ida R. (18, AR) and Laurence (13, AR), indicating that Ida had adopted the Nelson name.
