Listed as a coal miner (49, PA) with his wife Mary (40, PA) and son William H. McCune (14, PA) in 1880. His sister Jane (52, PA) is living with them.
In July 1892 his widow Mary J. McCune filed for widow’s pension benefits for Robert McCune.
