Was living in Louisville, KY in 1941. His wife died several years before 1962; no children were mentioned.

Davis Rites Scheduled for Tuesday
Funeral for Richard Davis, 66, Spencer, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Congregational church with Rev. Gerald Hallaur officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Davis died Thursday at the Spencer Hospital.
Dennis Ehrp will sing "In the Garden" with Vernon Gould as organist. Pall bearers are Howard Summers, Clarence Hummel, Thomas Simet, Archie Freeman, Tom Cornwall and Ernest Ebel. Friends may call at the Warner Funeral Home until noon Tuesday.
Mr. Davis was born Sept. 30, 1898, in Clay County, the son of Sylvester and Beryl Davis. He was a carpenter by occupation.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Allen Anderson of rural Milford.
