Mariam Tavenner was born in Loudoun Co, Virginia in 1836. Her marriage to Jonathan was the second marriage for both of them, her first marriage being to a Minor Gibson.
Shortly after Jonathan’s death, she is listed in the Portland city directories as early as 1904. In the 1910 Oregon census, she is recorded as Marian V. Bradrick (74, VA) a widow and living in Portland as the head of household with her son Marion E. Gibson (51, OH) also a widower, and a roomer Ida M. Gullickson. Also listed there as late as the 1913 city directory.
Listed as Marim V. Bradrick in the Portland death records.

Son of Paul Broderick (1792, NY - 11 May 1870 Fredericktown, OH) and wife Sarah (1795, PA - 25 Oct 1860, Fredericktown, OH).
Listed in 1850 as Jonathan Brodrick (32, OH) with his wife Elizabeth (27, VA) and son Mortimer (1, OH). Also listed with them is what appears to be his mother-in-law Letuce Beans (54, VA) - named by someone with a sense of humor.
In 1870 he is listed with his wife Jane (47, VA) as a farmer (52, OH) with $15,330 of land. Sons Mortimer (21, OH) and Harrison (16, OH) are living at home.
In 1880 he is listed as a carpenter (63, OH) with his second wife Miriam (43, VA) and son Mortimer.
Jonathan Bradrick and second wife Miriam (Aug 1836, VA) were listed in the 1900 census as married 44 yrs and with 5 of 7 children living.
"Berlin township, farmer and carpenter, post office, Fredericktown, born in Belmont county in 1818, and was married in Richland county to Elizabeth Jane Beans, who was born in Loudoun county, Virginia, in 1822. They had five children, viz: Mortimer, born in 1849; Wilson, in 1851; Harrison, in 1854; Paul A. (deceased), in 1856; and Jonathan, jr. (deceased), in 1858. Mrs. Elizabeth J. Bradrick died in 1874. His second marriage was to Mariam Gibson (Tavenner), who was born in Loudoun county; Virginia, in 1836. Mr. Bradrick came to Richland county in 1833, and remained there till 1849, when he located in Berlin township, this county. When a young man he learned the carpenter trade; he built a barn on the farm of James Trayer in 1836, and in 1876 he built a barn on the same location for Isaac Leedy, and has worked at his trade in different localities. Elizabeth was married to Daniel Fallen, now living in Perry township, Richland county. Catharine died in 1879. George died in 1852. Margaret was married to A. C. Huntsman, now of Richland county. Lorain is engaged in the study of medicine with Dr. Hall, of Fredericktown, and attending lectures at Chicago. Leroy is residing with his parents."
