A court of claims testimony in 1875 names William as a son of Sarah Hall Trahern. He was not born by the 1856 census, nor is he located in 1885 on the census. It was heard he may have gone off to Colorado, but no trace has ever been found. We know he was alive in 1875. Burial location is unknown, but if he died in the nation, he would have been most likely buried with his family, so he is included here.
