MATTOON -- Nova Deane Wells, 91, of Mattoon died at 2:56 p.m. Monday (November 2, 2015) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System in Mattoon.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cumberland Presbyterian 'Brown' Church near Mt. Erie. Burial will be at Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born March 27, 1924, in Wynoose, the daughter of Herschel and Bessie (Long) Fitch.
Ms. Wells was formerly employed at Brown Shoe Company in Charleston. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian ‘Brown’ Church near Mt. Erie.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Craig of Mattoon; one son, Robert Wells of Springfield, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren: and 25 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
