EUGENE L. LONG
Eugene Landen Long, 46, a native of Kirkersville, resident of 1263 Broadview Avenue, Columbus, died Monday in Grant Hospital, Columbus.
An industrial engineer formerly associated with the Avery Engineering Co., Columbus, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Long; a daughter, Phyllis Jean of Miami, FL, and a son David Eugene of the home; also a sister Mrs. Rozella Lasure of Portsmouth.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Golda married Eugene Landen Long (23 Jun 1906, Kirkersville, OH - Nov 1952 Franklin Co, OH) and had two children, Phyllis Jean (1929) and David (1937). Golda was something of a "beauty" and was known for her blonde hair. Listed in Columbus with her husband of 2 yrs, Eugene (23, OH) an electric refrigerator repairman in 1930, along with daughter Phylis G. (1, OH); living with the family of his sister Lottie Mulby. Still there in 1936.
In 1940 their family of 4 is in Grandview Heights, with him still working in refrigeration service.
Died of cancer, and he is buried next to her. Date of death not yet known, as only burial record has been found. She apparently does not have a headstone, as only Eugene’s was found.
