Barbara Cecile (Loken) Bogotty (age 73) of White Bear Township, died December 13, 2016 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by parents Dr. & Mrs. Selmer M. Loken. Barb is survived by devoted husband of 53 years, Roger E. Bogotty; sisters: Paula A. Johnson, Phyllis S. Loken, Linda K. Pietsch (David), and Andrea J. Smith (Tom); daughters: Shelly Bogotty Aschkenase, Glencoe, IL and Gina A. Bogotty, Lino Lakes; grandchildren: Alexis A. Aschkenase and Anders S. Aschkenase, Glencoe, IL.; beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. Barb spent 50 years in health care as a nurse and nurse-manager of plastic, aesthetic & reconstructive surgery clinics. Her many lifelong friends and family will remember her as an avid tennis player, runner, shopper, decorator, and dinner party hostess. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2:30pm - 5:00pm in the Wedell Community Room at the Shoreview Community Center, 4580 Victoria St N, Shoreview, MN 55126.
