Sara W. Coleman
Mrs. Sara Katherine Wells Coleman, 90, of 1404 24th, died Thursday at a local resthome. Mrs. Coleman was born Sept. 3, 1872, in Edgar, IL a daughter of Daniel and Eliza Freeman Wells.
On Nov. 22, 1896, she was married to John William Coleman in Sumner, Neb. Mr. Coleman died Jan. 22, 1922.
She homesteaded in North Platte, Neb., and came to Ogden in 1926. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are four sons, Elmer Howard Coleman, Washington, D.C.; William D. Coleman, Ogden; Joseph Coleman, Yumatillo, Ore., and Lloyd Coleman, Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Bessie) Chite, Denver, and Mrs. Claude. (Velma) Koch, Madera, Calif.; 22
grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel. Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. Interment in Washington Heights Memorial Park.
