Carole Y Raust 66 of Ripon died on Thursday October 23 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Mrs Raust was a native of Stockton. She lived in Ripon 15 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Veterans' of Foreign Wars Women’s Auxiliary, the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and the Ripon Garden Club. She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Richard Raust of Ripon, children Joyce Waite of Magalia, Cindy Henning of Colorado, and Cheri McMahon of Colorado, parent Helen Jacobson of Paradise, siblings Darlene Souza of Manteca, Lanny Jacobson of Redding and Penny Norman of Paradise, and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation was held Sunday afternoon at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. Memorial services were conducted Monday morning at Deegan. Interment followed at Ripon Cemetery, Deegan. Ripon Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
