EDWARD M. BROXSON 1927-2005
Edward M. Broxson, 77, of Milton, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005 in a local hospital.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Merchant Marines in World War II (1 Jan 1944 - 1 Jan 1945), and was a volunteer of the National and State Forestry Divisions. Mr. Broxson was a member of the Pine Terrace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Donald Broxson; and the love of his life, Vivian Broxson.
He is survived by three sons, Edward (Nancy) Broxson III of Pelham, TN, John K. (Beverly) Broxson Sr. of Pratville, AL, and Russell K. Broxson Sr. of Milton; two daughters, Amelia Cheryl (Tony) Land of Pace, and Cindy "Sam" (Jimmy) Cobb of Milton; one brother, Jerry Broxson of Milton; one sister, Vivian (Bruce) Stewart of Milton; brothers-in-law, John Guidy of Milton, and Charles Gillis of Pensacola; sister-in-law, Jean Guidy of Molino; thirty grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and numerous neices and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Broxson will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2005 in the Pine Terrace Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Wiggins and Dr. Joe Bamberg officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery with LEWIS FUNERA1 HOME directing. Pallbearers will be Russell Broxson Kevin Broxson Edward Broxson IV, John Broxson Michael Cannon, Jermi Cannon, Tony Donald Land, and Kenrick Venett. Honorary pallbearers will be Senior Mens S.S. Class of Pine Terrace Baptist Church, and D.J. McColley and Chris Erwin.

VIVIAN W. BROXSON
Vivian W. Broxson, 69, of Milton died Monday morning July 2, 2001 in a local hospital. Mrs. Broxson was a native and lifelong resident of Santa Rosa Co. She was a volunteer for the State of Florida and the National Forestry division. She was a member of the Billory Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Donald Broxson; her parents, John and Florence "MAWS" Guidy; her brother, Cecil Guidy; and her sisters, Elma Price, Waverly Caro, and Ouida Travers. Survivors include her husband of S3 years, Edward Broxson of Milton; 3 sons, Edward Broxson III (Nancy) of Tennessee, John K. Broxson (Beverly) of Alabama, Russell K. Broxson, of Milton; 2 daughters, Amelia Cheryl Land (Tony) of Pace, Cindy "Sam" Broxson-Cobb (Jimi) of Milton; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Guidy, (Alice) of Milton; 2 brothers-in-law, Bill Caro and Jerry Broxson, both of Milton; 2 sisters-in-law, Jean Guidy of Pensacola, Vivian Stewart (Bruce) of Milton; and several nieces and nephews; she loved them all.
