RICHARD "Rick" Leon Wells, Jr., 55 passed away on November 11th at Moses Cone Hospital.Rick is survived by his mother, Maxine McGaughey, sisters; Vicki (Mike) Iddings, and Lisa (Craig) Pannell; step-mother, M.K. Wells, nieces Courtney (Ronnie) Peters, Ashley Mann, Amber (Vance) Greeson, nephews; Jake Iddings, Cabe Pannell, Kendrick Pannell, great niece and nephews, Jennifer Greeson, Riley and Rowan Peters. Rick was predeceased by his father, Richard L. Wells, Sr. "Dick. From a young boy, Rick excelled in mastering how things work. Combined with his spirited personality, remarkable knowledge and attention to detail, he was well-respected in his field, of luxury home automation throughout the Southeast. Rick was kindhearted, a giver, and loved life! He will be truly missed by family and friends! A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of Lawndale Baptist Church. A brief visitation will follow directly after the service. Donations may be made to Lawndale Baptist Church, 3505 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC 27408.
