C. B. Smock, a pioneer resident of Asbury Park, died Tuesday of last week after a long sickness. Mr. Smock was 81 years old and had lived at Asbury Park nearly forty years. He went there from Holmdel. Mr. Smock was engaged in the livery business more than 25 years.
He is survived by two sons and five daughters, all of whom live at Asbury park. They are William H. and Ira C. Smock, Mrs. M. B. Hayden, Mrs. Charles E. Hurley, Mrs. Lavinia Lippincott, Mrs. George W. Gravatt and Mrs. Fred E. Farry.
