Franklin is the son of Samuel Ware (b. abt 1811, OH) and his wife Susannah.
His birth is listed as 10 June 1839 in the Fenton History, and he is listed as age 11 in the 1850 census, but as born June 1838 in the 1900 census, so I have set his year of birth as 1839.
He is listed with his parents and two brothers in Lafayette Twp, Medina Co, OH in 1850.
In 1860 he is listed as Frank Ware (21, OH) a laborer working on a farm in Huntington, Lorain Co, OH, where he met and married Lucretia the next year.
Since Horace Fenton had 3 son-in-laws in the military during the Civil War, Franklin must have been one of them, and appears to have served in Co B of the 124th Regiment, Ohio Infantry; starting as a Private and being a Corporal when he was mustered out.
He is listed in Iowa in the 1870 census, with his wife and 3 yr old son Eddie (indexed as Mare).
Franklin is listed in the 1910 census as age 70, with a second wife Harriet Wilson (47, Eng) and her father. They were apparently married that year, and it was the second marriage for both.

Addie Lucretia Fenton m. Franklin Ware 4 Nov 1861 in Huntington, Lorain Co, OH. In 1869 they removed from Medina Co, OH to Wright Co, IA and in 1876 removed to Clay Center, Kansas where they lived in 1885.
She went by Lucretia in most records after their marriage.
They subsequently moved to Washington, and were living in Huntsville for the 1900 census, married 38 yrs with son Edwin E. (Feb 1868, OH) being the only one of their 3 children still living at home.
