Listed as Barbara Steinbaugh and living with her mother in 1860.
Listed in 1880 census for Mansfield as Barbra Grice with the family of Thomas Robinson, as a servant, age 45 and widowed.
(2)Married to John Arnold on 3 Mar 1887 in Mansfield. They show up in the 1891 city directory for Dayton, and she is listed as age 63 with him at age 80 in the 1900 Mansfield census.
Lived in Mansfield and Bellville and had no children.
In 1910 she is living alone in Bellville, and widowed at age 73, and in 1920 ten yrs later.
In 1930 she was a boarder (94, PA) with Fred and Ella Freuse in Mansfield.

[Obituary] Mansfield News (Mansfield, OH) - Friday, 22 July 1904
John Arnold, died at his late home, 77 East First Street, Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. He had been ill several years, a complication of diseases being the cause of his death. He leaves a wife, one son and one daughter, Malon Arnold and Mrs. Lydia Etzwiler (from his first marriage); and a sister, Miss Jane Arnold. He was a soldier in the Civil War, having been a member of CO. D 32nd O.V.I. He belonged to McLaughlin Post, which will attend his funeral in a body, and also a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. S. P. Long officiating.
