Pamela S. Cooper
MOUNT VERNON: Pamela S. Cooper, age 59, of Mount Vernon, died unexpectedly at her residence on December 1, 2009. She was born on November 28, 1950 in Mount Vernon. Pamela was a member of the Newark Church of Christ, where she was very active in the church's functions. She was also 38 year member of the Glenwood Chapter 303 OES.
Pamela is survived by her father and step-mother, Glenn (Virginia) Kidwell of Walhonding; her children, Roderic Cooper of Frazeysburg, Rebecca (Tony) Cooper-Pritchett of Columbus and Ryan (Candice) Cooper of Howard; a brother, Tom (Carolyn) Kidwell of Walhonding; two grandsons, Michael and Shannon Cooper; step-sisters, Rebecca (Steve) Baldwin of SC, Jeannie Beach of Mount Vernon, Paula Dion of Mount Vernon, Peggy Lamb of Georgia and Barbara (Michael) Newton of Howard. Her mother, Mildred Jones Kidwell preceded her in death in 2007.
Friends may call on Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bladensburg Church of Christ, where an Eastern Star service will follow calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Mr. Don Allen and Mr. Stan Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Bladensburg Cemetery. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Bladensburg is handling the funeral arrangements for the Cooper family.
