Assumed, but not yet proven, that this Elizabeth Wells is the daughter of Tunis Wells and Margaret Williams.
She received a fair education and joined the Presbyterian Church while still young. Died at age 70.

Apparently moved to Ohio between 1840 and 1850 and purchased a farm.
1850 census Samuel (59, MD) a farmer with $500 of land, Elizabeth (58, PA), Jackson (21, PA), Charlotte (19, PA), Mary (16, PA), Margaret (13, PA).
1860 census shows Samuel (Sr?) age 64, a farmer with $2,200 of land, $270 property, born in Penn. Elizabeth (65) born in PA. Their son, Samuel is also listed on the same page with his family.
In 1862 he sold out and moved to Jasper Co, Iowa where he lived with his children until he died at age 73. Was a staunch Democrat.
