Although his father came over in 1900 and was naturalized by 1910, Fred came with his mother, arriving at Ellis Island June 23, 1905 aboard the ship Konigin Luise from Genoa as 5 year old son “Cerrucio”.
In 1910 he is listed with his parents at age 11, with his brother Hugo (3, CA). His parents were listed as married 13 yrs with 2 of their 3 children still iving.
His WWI Draft registration lists him as being a citizen by virtue of his father’s naturalization before his age of “majority”. He is also listed as naturalized in the 1930 census.
Marriage license listing showed him as age 21 at 5 York St and her as age 18 at 2776 Twenty First St. He was a butcher.
In the 1920 census, he is listed as Fred, a butcher, with his wife, father and younger brother at 705 Hampshire in SF.
He must have gone back to visit Italy later that year, as he returned thru Ellis Island on 19 Sep 1920 at age 22 aboard the ship Patria from Naples, Campania, Italy. He was listed as being from Capannori Lucca, Italy.
In 1930, he and Alida are living on 20th Ave with their children Fosco and Tosca. And are still there in 1940, when his widowed mother-in-law, Eufemia Frediani (60, ITL) is also living with them. It says he immigrated in 1905 and was naturalized.
By 1950 they had moved to Saratoga, and her mother, Eufemia Frediani (71, ITL) was living with them.

Marriage license listing showed her as age 18 at 2776 Twenty First St, San Francisco in 1919.
