Death Certificate says that she was born in 1876, although I previously had 1875.
She arrived at Ellis Island June 23, 1905 aboard the ship Konigin Luise from Genoa with her 5 year old son “Cerrucio”. She was already married and listed from Lucca, although her husband was not with her.
They lived in Colma at the time of her death, and she had been in California for 15 years at the time. She was listed as a non-resident, meaning that she had not obtained Citizenship. She died of pneumonia and was buried in the Italian Cemetery in Colma.

Living on York St in San Francisco when he registered for the WWI Draft as Giuseppe. He was married to Marianna and working as a weigher in a Sanitary Reduction Wks (crematory).
He is listed as Joseph (40, Italy) a widower with the family of his son Fred in 1920, still working as a bookkeeper in the crematory. Fred was a butcher (21, Italy) married to Alida (18, CA), and his brother Ugo (13, CA) was also living with them on Hampshire St.
He subsequently traveled to Italy, where he met Bruna and was remarried in 1929.
They retuned from Italy aboard the Conte Grande from Genoa to New York on 11 Mar 1929.
Listed as Giuseppe in the 1930 San Francisco census as a weigher (50, Italy) first married at age 18, with wife Bruna (36, Italy) a dressmaker. He immigrated in 1900 and was naturalized, while she immigrated in 1929 and was not naturalized. They were living at 150 Delmar.
Listed in 1940 as Joseph Marchi (61, ITL) with wife Bruna (46, ITL).
His WWII draft registration lists him on Vincente St in San Francisco, working for the Sanitary Fill company and with son Fred as his contact reference.
He is still working for the SF garbage company at age 71 in the 1950 census, with wife Bruna (56, ITL).
They lived in San Francisco until around 1960, when they returned to Italy for the small remainder of his life (he had property there).
His death is reported by the American Consulate of Florence in the Reports of Death of American Citizens Abroad. It lists his birth and death dates, says he died of a cardiac infarction, and is buried in the San Donato cemetery, with his effects given to his widow, Bruna Marchi. It also says he was naturalized on 24 Nov 1911 in San Francisco, and that his last known address in the US was 227 Vicente St, SF. It says his passport was issued 24 April, 1959 and his son Ugo was living at 47 Colvin St, SF.
