In 1880 he is listed as 42, deaf and blind with his wife Clara (40) and 4 children: Nettie (20), Fred B. (19), Clara (12), and Jennie (10) all born NY.
John Wiggins died in Lynchburg at age of 82, on February 20th is buried in Grub Hill cemetery, the services were conducted by the Rev. Joel Tucker.
