CASS BROWNFIELD DIES IN HOSPITAL
Cass Brownfield, age 68, Monroe county farmer, and resident of Jerusalem, Route 2, died on Saturday morning at 6:30 o’clock in the Barnesville General hospital.
Mr. Brownfield was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are his wfe, Mrs. Ella Brownfield, and the following children, Mrs. Orrison Day of Barnesville; Jerome Brownfield of Cambridge; Mrs. Cheoris Kirkbride of Malaga; Miss Mignyon Brownfield at home and Mrs. May Hoffman at home; also fourteen grandchildren. Six brothers and two sisters also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Jerusalem Church of Christ with Thomas Christy officiating. Burial was made in the Jerusalem cemetery.
