They had one daughter, Frances Olive, who married Clarence Mowry, son of Mary (Miller) and Samuel Mowry. Clarence and Frances had two sons, Robert & Leo, both deceased, Richland Co, Ohio.
In 1910 they were listed next to her cousin Oscar Gaddis. Her husband John T. was working as a farm laborer (48, MD), and she was at home (46, OH). They had one child, who was not living at home.
After her husband’s death, she was living as a widow with her daughter’s family.
In 1930 she was listed as a widow (66, OH), living with her daughter’s family; which consisted of Olive and Clarence Mowry, plus their sons Robert L. (18) and Leo C. (16).
Still living with her daughter’s family in 1940, at age 76.

Death Takes Mrs. Stabler
Mrs. Ida Alice Stabler, 85, wife on John Thomas Stabler died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Mowry, West Fourth street road, following several weeks of illness.
Mrs. Stabler, who was born Aug. 5, 1863, in Jefferson township, spent her entire life in this vicinity. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Mowry; two grandsons, Robert and Leo Mowry and three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews, all of Mansfield.
Mrs. Stabler was the last of a family of seven. The body was removed to Wappner funeral home where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 pm conducted by Rev. Carveth P. Mitchell, pastor of the First Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Mansfield cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon.
