Listed with his wife and 3 children in 1850 as a shoemaker. When he died, his children were orphans and Eli Shaw became their guardian. On 3 Sept 1855 Eli sold Samuel’s 36 Ac of land to Mary Jones for $351. In 1860 their daughter was working for a family near his dad and James W. Moats was living with Samuel's father. Not yet sure where Isaac was in 1860.
