Listed with his son Henry and family in each census. Shown as over 45 in 1820 and between 70 and 80 in both 1830 and 1840. Born around 1760 based on 1830 and 1840 census records. Died after 1840.
I originally entered his name as Henry, due to assuming that he may have been listed as the head of household with his son, Henry. However, after looking at the early records in the other states, the names of his sons, the land records, and the History of Licking Co -- I suspected his name was actually Jacob.
Info from Dick Henthorn lists him as Henry and also lists additional children:
Tewalt Moats; Basil Moats; and Madeline Moats.
