By 1940 she is listed as Sadie Meszler (40, PA) divorced and managing the boarding house (with only a 5th grade education).

He and his wife, Sadie Mesler were living in Honesdale in 1920, no children, was a glass cutter in a cut glass factory, while she worked in a shirt factory.
He is referenced as being in Waymart in his mother’s 1934 obituary.
