She is said to have been married to Michael Ryan.
In 1910 they are listed in Carbondale as Michael W. and Kathryn Ryan, married 5 yrs with no children. In 1920, they were renting in Carbondale as Catherine (49, PA) whose parents are from Germany and Penn. and Michael (44, PA) Ryan, a railroad car inspector. By 1930 they owned their home on Ninth Ave in Carbondale, and he was still inspecting cars for the steam railroad.

MRS. MICHAEL W. RYAN DIES; FUNERAL MONDAY
WAS FORMERLY CATHERINE DENK OF HONESDALE AND RESIDED IN CARBONDALE MANY YEARS.
Carbondale, Jan. 25.-Mrs. Michael W. Ryan, a native of Honesdale and a Carbondale resident for many years, died at 2:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon, in St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been a patient for one week. Her home was at 54 Ninth Avenue.
Mrs. Ryan was the former Miss Catherine Denk, a daughter of the late Joseph and Christina Spoor Denk. She was a member of St. Rose Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are her husband, one sister, Miss Margaret Denk, Carbondale, and two nieces, Mrs. William Murphy and Mrs. Armanda Gonzalec, San Francisco, Cal.
The funeral will be Monday morning. À solemn requiem mass will be celebrated in St. Rose Church at 10:15 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery, Honesdale.
