In 1900 they are back in Belmont Co, OH as just William (82, OH) and Sarah (77, VA).
[Obituary] 9 Jan 1906
Wilcox - William whose home was with his son, J.L. Wilcox 911 West Losey, died this morning of pneumonia age 89 years. Born and reared in Belmont county, Ohio and moved to Knoxville in the early 1860’s and since resided there. He leaves six sons; J.L. of this city, W.A. of Abington, Nathan G. or Woodbury, Iowa, John H. of Texas, Franklin and Clarkson of Mo. The funeral will take place from the home tomorrow and be private.
The Linnwood Cemetery of Galesburg, Illinois database shows that William Wilcox (1817 to 1906) was buried in the same plot (block # 48 and lot #4) as his son, Joseph L Wilcox and daughter-in-law Mary Wilcox (nee Cater).
