He is a wagonmaker, and they have another wagonmaker living with them. He cannot read or write, but has US citizenship! In 1880 he is listed as 46, a blacksmith born in Ireland.

In both the 1870 and 1880 census records with her huband, her birthplace is listed as Illinois. On marr certificate of her daughter, her name is listed as Manahrn, on her death certificate Monohan, and on her son’s death certificate it is Monahan.
