After her husband’s death in 1941, she moved to Indiana, and lived in Columbia City, teaching in the Whitley County schools. Her death certificate in 1944 says she died of a cerebral hemorrhage, but lists the wrong birthdate and father - as supplied by her son Donald in Chicago. Her body was removed to Monmouth, IL for burial with her husband.
