Lena L. Coffman, 83, Minneapolis, died Monday, March 9, 2020. She was born April 28, 1936 to Ned and Ruth Conrow.
Lena was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. She worked various jobs in Minneapolis including Parrish’s Grocery Store and the Ottawa County Health Center. Lena made quilts for all her grandchildren, but Alex’s wasn’t quite finished. She loved life in general and was known as an avid sports and K-State fan. Lena bowled for many years and she never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.W.; and sister, Janet Howland.
Survivors are her children, DeWayne Coffman (Benita) Kechi, Ks, Richard Coffman (Vickie) Minneapolis, Linda Williamson, Farmington, NM; grandchildren, Leanna Chaffee (Luke), Jolie Sharon (Jeff), Chris Coffman (Andrea), Katherine Dixon (Matt), Alex Coffman, Alissa Will (Zach), Barian Williamson (Missy), Angela Elworthy (Dan); great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Tessa Chaffee, Justin and Joseph Sharon, Hailey Chapman, Easton, Hudson and Kaynen Coffman, Paige Tope, Elizabeth Losey, Genevieve Dixon, Abel Will, Allura, Barian Jr, Caelyn, Daci, Eden, and Tracy Williamson, Shane and Dakota Elworthy.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 Friday, March 13 at the First Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis. Memorials are to the church or the Ottawa County Health Center.

[Obituary]
L.W. Coffman, 69, Minneapolis, died Sunday, December 14, 2003. Mr. Coffman was born July 11, 1934, at Jerusalem, Arkansas to Frank and Elva Beavers Coffman.
He was united in marriage to Lena L. Conrow on December 24, 1953 in Manhattan. They lived in Manhattan and Junction City before moving to Minneapolis in 1968. L.W. a refrigerator and air conditioning technician and also owned nd operated an appliance store in Minneapolis prior to his retirement.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Junction City Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lena L. of the home; two sons, Dewayne ( Benita)of Wichita and Richard (Vicki) of Minneapolis; a daughter, Linda Williamson of Farmington, N.M.; a brother W.I. of Manhattan; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. , Wednesday at Shields Funeral Home. Memorials my be made to Ottawa County Museum. There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
