Twin brother of Ruby.
He was a high school teacher, specializing in mathematics and physical training; he was also a tenor soloist and sang in quartets over the radio from North Bay, Ontario. He worked his way thru college and qualified as a Lieutenant, Canadian Army, attending summer courses at Niagra-on-the-Lake. He was a skilled pianist. He was also a superintenant of Sunday Schools. Late in life, he was married to Jean Leggett (nee Fisher). They had no children.
