"Mrs. Annie Sawyer, mother of Mrs. C.L. Beed, died at the residence of her daughter on Iowa Street last Wednesday evening. She came here on a visit from her home in Nashua, NH, about the middle of the summer and has not been in good health since. She was a sister of Henry White, and of Mrs. Galer Beed of Minneapolis, MN, who came down to attend the funeral services which were conducted by Reverend HW Troy Friday afternoon. The burial was in the Hampton Cemetery."
