When he immigrated in 1911, his contact in Bialostok was his grandfather, Jankel Wasilkowski. His destination was his father, N. Reines in Patterson, NJ. He arrived 8 May 1911 aboard the Prince Friedrich Wilhelm from Bremen.
Benjamin (17, RUS) is listed with his parents Nathan (50, RUS) and Esther (44, RUS) Reines in 1920. He is naturalized, having immigrated in1911 and working as a bookkeeper in a shirt factory.
By 1925 he had married Mary Karr, and is listed in the Bronx with her and
