Newspaper account reads “Drowned, in Georgia, Miss Sophia White, aged 18, and Miss Sabrina Tisdale, aged 19. They, in company with a young man and two other young ladies, had embarked in a small boat for pleasure on the lake and in coming along side of a small sloop, their boat upset, and with difficulty three were saved from a watery grave, while the other two sunk to rise no more.”
