Thaddeus's name is spelled with one and with two “d”s in different places.
Came to New York from Georgia, VT. Thaddeus was also a War of 1812 veteran. Thaddeus and Eunice were married by the same individual that married Nathan Cook and Minerva Hill.
They moved from Vermont to New York in 1848. He is listed in Chateaugay in 1860 as a farmer (66, MA) with his wife (60, NY) and children Andrew (22), George (20), and Jane (14).
His children consist of 8 sons, 4 daughters. Thaddeus' children were, as listed in his will: Nelson, Rufus, Limace, Mary Ann (Kennison), Ann 1825-1892 m. Neil Nicholson at Georgia VT, Thaddeus 1828, Martha 1830-1907 m. Smith Payne, Benjamin 1832, Edward/Edwin 1833-1899, George 1841, Jane 1846 m. William McKinney, and Louisa m. James Taylor. Also 2 deceased sons: Andrew J. 1838-1865, Henry P. 1842-1873.
Benjamin, George, and Thaddeus were Civil War veterans. Benjamin and Lyman ended up in Gaylord, KS.
