Based on a Probate record, it appears that Harvey Alford was appointed her guardian in 1910, but it may be that the guardianship is in relation to a land allotment, where parents were listed as guardians, not parents.
Divorced and remarried twice. She married (2) Dale Dixon for a couple years, and was later listed as Vera Sciortino (wife of Ben) in her father’s obit in 1956, whom she was married to for 14 years.
