Listed in 1910 census as being married 24 years with 4 children, all living. With them is their son John (13) and daughter Daisy (20) with her husband plus a 14 month old grandson. He was a packer at the Glassworks.
Is living in his home on Beechurst Ave in Morgantown in 1920, as age 59 and born in Penn. with his wife Anna (55), and son (John) Griffith (23). He is working as a laborer in the Glass Plant.
Listed in 1930 census for Morgantown on the same street, at age 66 and a laborer in a glass plant, with his wife Annie (64, WV). It says he was first married at 19, but other census records indicate their marriage in 1883, and since he was still living at home in 1880, it appears that this is simply an error in calculating his age.
1940 census shows the two of them still in Morgantown at 79 and 75, both with 6th grade educations.
He died in 1947 or bronchial pneumonia.
