Misc. Notes
His WWI Draft registration states that he was born 6 Sep 1880, and his obituary says he was born 9 Sep 1881. Since the former was both a personal statement, closer to the event and matches his headstone, I have used the earlier date for his birth.
Listed in Nebraska with his father in 1900, working as a day laborer. It says he was born in Oklahoma.
In 1910, he is listed as a farmer (29, MO) with his wife Lillie (28, MI). They had been married 3 years, with it being his first marriage and her second.
His WWI Draft registration lists his birth date, and shows his race as both White and Indian, born as a US citizen. He was living as a farmer in Eddyville, Dawson Co, NE at the time and Lilley Wells is listed as his nearest relative.
Listed as 39 born in Oklahoma in 1920 census with his wife Lillie D. (38, MI) as a farmer.
Listed in 1930 census as age 47, married at age 26 and born in Oklahoma. He is with his wife Lillie (48, MI) who was first married at 17. He was working as a laborer on the steam railway.
He is listed as a construction laborer (59, OK) in 1940, with a 3rd grade education. He is with his wife Lillie D. (58, MI) who completed the 8th grade.
His wife died before him in 1955, and he died in 1969. They are buried in North Platte Cemetery, next to each other.

Misc. Notes
Daughter of Chandler T. Fox (1850 MI - 1919 NE) and Julia Cummings (1862 MI - 1925 NE).
Her parents moved from Michigan to Nebraska about 1885, and appear in the 1900 census for Dawson Co, NE - although she is not with them due to her marriage to Charles Johnston at age 17.
It is unknown whether he died or they were simply divorced, but she was married for the second time to Riley in 1907.
Even though she was previously married, her name is listed as Fox on the marriage record to Riley, and it lists her parents as well.
