James married Mary Martin (1853-1916).
He kept a store for about 20 years in Palmerston and after he was burned out moved to homestead just north of ours and four miles east of where Osler now is, 20 mi. north of Saskatoon, Sask., Canada. Later they moved to about 4 mi. east of Rosthern, Sask., which is about 30 mi. north of former location.
Children: Mary Aene [Hillyard], Martha [Paul], Andrew A. died when about 11 years of age, Janie M. [Robertson], John McDonald (b. Jun 1880), Mabel, Jessie.
Last I knew of John he was working in the Ford plant at Detroit. Mabel also lived in Detroit for a time and died there. All the others have lived in Saskatchewan except Mary who was living in Vancouver, B.C. last I knew. *Brackets encloses married surname when known.
