He married Sally Bull on 1 Sep 1785, dau of Isaac and Chase Bull, and sister of Polsapmania Bull, who married his brother Russell. They settled in Hoosick Falls, NY where he was a farmer, carder, clothier and miller generally, and where he was a Col. in the militia, Supervisor, and Judge in the county Court. She died at Troy, NY on 10 May 1851.
