Allen was actually born in the Nutt farm house.
He was single and living in Alaska when he enlisted on 30 Nov 1945 in the Army at Greensboro, North Carolina, as a metal worker with a high school education.
He married a woman from Brownsville and they have three daughters, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Mr. E. Alan Guseman died peacefully on January 7, 2015, in Fairfax, VA, at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Sue Guseman, his devoted daughters, Kathleen Benner, Mary Louise Meurer, and Rebecca Williams, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, as well as his brother James Guseman.
Alan was born on August 21, 1926 in Grindstone, PA to Robert and Ada Wells Guseman. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He retired from the Central Intelligence Agency after 29 years of service and was recognized as being the last American out of the Berlin Tunnel.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Fairfax, VA. Interment will be on a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

Mary Sue Elliott Guseman died peacefully on May 7, 2023 in Fairfax, Virginia at the age 94. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alan Guseman, of 65 years. Sue is survived by her daughters Kathleen (Claude) Benner, Mary Louise Meurer, and Rebecca (Timothy) Williams, 6 grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Christopher, Emily, Amy, and Byron and 9 great grandchildren Lachlan, Cora, Milo, Virginia, Cameron, Samantha, Brady, Annabelle, and Oliver. Sue was born on March 9, 1929 in Brownsville, PA to William and Ellen Flanigan Elliott. She was a beloved teacher in the original Flint Hill Private School and a teachers aid in the Fairfax County School System.
A funeral mass will be scheduled at St Leo the Great Catholic Church at a future date. Final internment will be in Arlington National Cemetery where she will rejoin her beloved husband for all eternity.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff of Sunrise at Fair Oaks for all they care and love they have shown our mother since January 2020. We are forever grateful.
