Misc. Notes
They moved to Morrow County, OH about 1846. Chester Township was part of Knox County until 1848 so their purchase deed is no doubt filed in Knox County, OH. He is listed in the 1850 Agriculture census with 35 ac valued at $2,800, 12 ac in hay and 2 cows.
Strangely, they are also listed in the 1850 Carroll Co, MD census with their first 7 children. So it is not clear when they actually moved to the farm in Knox County, Ohio. Although, based on birthplace of the children, it would appear to be more like 1852.

Jacob L. Nicodemus and Susan Baile are buried in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown, OH with Cecelia, her husband, and a younger sister “Kittie” all buried in the same plot. There is only one marker for the 5 graves.
