He was born in Aultsville, and moved to Montreal at a young age. He was married three times while living and working in Montreal all his life.
He died in Montreal, and is buried at St Lawrence (Long Sault Union) cemetery along with all 3 of his wives, plus his son and daughter-in-law. His second wife was Lillian Noall, believed to be from Montreal, who died there. His 3rd wife was Eleanor Yondeau (not sure of spelling), whom he married in 1972.
