GUITTAR, MAXINE HUFFORD 76, passed in God's hands on Monday, July 30, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Born July 3, 1925 in Ludlow, Colorado. She has resided in El Paso for the past 67 years; during those years she worked as a comptroller for various automotive firms in the Las Cruces and El Paso area, she was active in the Women's Credit Association and also the Pilots Clubs in Las Cruces and El Paso where she served as President of the El Paso Chapter. She also worked as a Bookkeeper for Our Savior Lutheran Church. After her retirement she spent her time with family and her many friends. Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, LeRoy Hufford and wife Nita; sister-in-law, Jeanie Hufford, and numerous nieces and nephews and her many loving and caring friends. Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4th, at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home Dyer Street Chapel with Pastor David P. Bergmann officiating. Entombment will be in Restlawn Mausoleum.
