Minnie is listed as being born Kansas and Indiana in most census records in spite of being born in Illinois, and ages indicating her birth 1871-1874, but most records list her parents correctly as born in Kentucky and Tennessee.
In the 1900 census, Minnie (Aug 1874, KS) is listed married to Cicero McCloud (41, OH) and having two children of her own Ila (2, NE) and George (5mo, NE), plus 3 of his from a prior marriage. It lists her parents as born in Tenn & Indiana.
The family is in Lincoln, NE in 1920 consisting of Cicero A. McCloud (61, OH) a farmer, Minnie A. (48, IN) whose parents were born Kentucky and Tennessee, along with Ila M. (22, NE), George W. (19, NE), Guy R. (17, NE), Dorotha T. (15, NE). Gladys L. (11, NE), and Earl F. (7, NE).

In the 1925 Kansas state census, her daughter Dorothy (21, NE) was living in Smolan, KS with Minnie’s widowed brother and widowed father, working as a servant.
In 1930, the family is listed as Cesar A. McCloud (71, OH) first married at age 22, Minnie R. (59, IN) first married at age 21 and parents born in Kentucky & Tennessee; along with George William (30, NE), Dorothy T. (26, NE) and Earl F. (17, NE).
Minnie (69, IN) is widowed and living with her son George (40, NE), a farmer, in 1940; along with his brother Earl (27, NE) and sister Betty (13, NE).
