Listed in 1870 with her parents, and in 1880 with her brother and sisters after their parents deaths.
Emma first married Peter H. Hamblin (1845 - 1883), and after his death was remarried in 1884 to William V Wilson (1858 - 1939), a hardware salesman, whom she is listed with in 1900 with 5 of her 9 children living: May B. Hamblin (Aug 1882, IL), Lucy Wilson (Nov 1885, IL), Robert V. Wilson (Jan 1888, IL), Edward Wilson (Mar 1891, IL), Minnie Wilson (Nov 1895, IL), and Alice Wilson (Jan 1900, IN).
In 1910 she and Wilson (52, MO) are listed with just Minnie (14, IN) and Harry L. (8, IN) at home, with still only 5 of her 10 children living.
Emma and Wilson were listed in 1920 with none of their children at home, but a granddaughter Wanita (6, IL) living with them, as well as Emma’s sister Rose Conway (50, IL) and husband Charles Conway (1856-1928, IN).
By 1930 it is only Emma, Wilson and Rose living together in Mt Vernon, IN; and in 1940 Wilson had died, leaving on Emma and her sister Rose.
