After John’s death in 1876, there is a record of her second marriage to William Rogers (47) on 13 Sept 1877, Clay Co, IL as Susan R. Wells (39).
However, by 1880 all 4 of her children were living together on their own in Wayne County; so either she was also deceased by then, or her new husband chose not to care for them.
No further record has been found for her.
