Edna married Ralph Kyte (b. 13 Oct 1880 IN), a farmer on 20 Feb 1908 in Bartholomew Co, IN. To them was born a daughter, Alice Josephine in 1912.
In 1930 they are listed as Ralph Kyite (49, IN) and Grace E. (48, IN), first married at 27 and 26; with their daughter Alice J. (18, IN).

Mrs. Edna Kyte, 84, Dies
Mrs. Edna Wells Kyte, 84, native of Bartholomew county, died Monday in Norwalk, Calif., where she had been living with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Jordan.
Born July 9, 1882, she was the daughter of Simpson and Alice Kennedy Wells. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, The Royal Neighbor lodge and the Grange. She was married to Ralph Kyte Feb. 20, 1908. He died Sept. 1, 1951.
Surviving with her daughter are a foster son, Joe Clark of Columbus; two brothers Charles C. Wells of Indianapolis and J.K. Wells of Sarasota, Fla.: two sisters, Mrs B.B. Ailstock and Mrs. Mary B. Seele, both of Lake Wales, Fla., four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A nephew, Charles R. Wells, resides here at 2555 California street.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hathaway funeral home by the Rev. Geogre King. Burial will be at Garland Brook cemetery. Persons may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the funeral home.
