Philip Mowry died at home onf his son Hezekiah Mowry on Tuesday April 10, 1894. He was born February 29th 1816. He was known by all as an upright and energetic man. He came from Washington Co, Pa. in early life, and has been a resident of Jefferson tp ever since. He had reached the ripe age of 78 years 1 month 11 days. The funeral services will be held in the Lutheran church Thursday April 12th at 10:30. Meet at the house at ten o’clock.
