Geneva F. Saltzgiver, 99, of Largo, Florida, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, peacefully went to her final rest on August 29,2012 at Arden Courts of Largo. She was born in University City, Missouri on June 1, 1913 to Loren and Mamie (Wells) Butler. She married Frank A. Saltzgiver, June 20, 1935 in Kankakee, Illinois. Frank passed away December 23, 1997 in Toledo. Geneva was a beloved teacher for many years and she was an excellent seamstress. Her hobbies were reading and playing bridge.
Geneva is survived by daughter, Sharene (David) Mockensturm; grandson, Timothy Miller; sisters-in-law Marjorie Butler, Lorraine Wasmer, Doris Butler, and Dorothy Butler; three great grandsons, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Harlan, Harold, Ross, and Sherman Butler, sister Juanita Butler Schulze, sister-in-law Delores Butler, and granddaughter Corinne Thompson.
